About Me
Ariel is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in healthcare, specializing in integrative and functional medicine. Her professional journey combines evidence-based practices with holistic approaches to support her patients' health and well-being. Ariel’s passion for healing began early, working in a chiropractor’s office at age 15, where she witnessed the human body’s incredible capacity for self-repair. Since then, she has gained diverse experience across functional medicine, integrative medicine, and nutrition while utilizing a collaborative approach to all patient care. Guided by a patient-centered philosophy, she chose nursing as a career for its unique focus on education, kindness, and one-on-one patient interaction.
Ariel holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Developmental Biology from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from California Baptist University. Beyond her clinical work, she has served as an adjunct professor, teaching pathophysiology and critical care, and remains committed to educating patients and peers alike. In her practice, Ariel integrates conventional medicine with complementary therapies to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs. Whether managing chronic illnesses, addressing mental health challenges, or promoting preventive care, Ariel empowers her patients with the knowledge and tools to lead healthier lives. Her guiding principle, “Bring kindness to all patients you come in contact with,” underscores her commitment to compassionate care. Outside of her clinical role, Ariel stays active in medical research, guest lectures, and exploring the latest advancements in integrative medicine.
Approach to Services:
I understand the complexities and challenges of living with autoimmune conditions and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Through an integrative and functional medicine approach, my goal is to address the root causes of these conditions and offer personalized, comprehensive care. By focusing on dietary modifications, supplements, mental health, and innovative therapies like low-dose naltrexone (LDN), I strive to empower you to manage your health and enhance your quality of life.
My Approach
I take a holistic approach to managing autoimmune conditions and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, recognizing how interconnected the body’s systems are and the importance of addressing underlying imbalances. My aim is to support your body’s natural healing processes, reduce inflammation, and optimize your overall well-being.
My Principles
Dietary Changes: Nutrition is a cornerstone in managing autoimmune conditions and CFS. I provide personalized dietary recommendations to reduce inflammation, support immune function, and boost energy levels. This may include eliminating potential food triggers, adopting an anti-inflammatory diet, and prioritizing nutrient-dense foods tailored to your unique needs.
Supplements: Targeted nutritional supplements can address deficiencies, reduce inflammation, and support immune health. Based on your specific needs, I may recommend evidence-based supplements like omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, probiotics, and antioxidants to enhance your body’s resilience.
Mental Health: Emotional and mental well-being are vital components of managing chronic conditions. I incorporate strategies to support mental health, such as mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and counseling. Fostering emotional balance can improve your overall quality of life and help your body heal.
Let’s work together to create a personalized care plan that meets your health goals and helps you feel your best.
